Refund and Cancellation Policy

MSDHost Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026

Before an irreversible provider action

If an order cannot be fulfilled and no irreversible provider or registry action has occurred, MSDHost may cancel the order and return the applicable payment to the original payment method.

Domain and registry services

Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, premium-domain charges, registry fees, privacy charges, and similar provider costs are generally non-refundable after submission because the registry or registrar action cannot normally be reversed. A failed domain order that was not accepted by the provider will be reviewed for refund or correction.

Web hosting

You may schedule hosting cancellation for the end of the paid period from My MSDHost where the control is available. This stops future service continuation but does not automatically refund the current paid period.

Refund requests for unused hosting time are reviewed individually. Approval may depend on service use, provisioning work, abuse or policy violations, payment fees, discounts, and whether resources or third-party costs have already been consumed. This policy does not reduce any refund right required by applicable law.

VPS and custom work

VPS requests are quote-only until a provider and payment are confirmed. For an accepted paid quote, the quote will identify any setup, licensing, provider, or custom-work charges that become non-refundable after provisioning begins.

Duplicate or incorrect charges

Contact support promptly if you believe a charge was duplicated or incorrect. MSDHost will review payment records and correct verified billing errors.

Processing

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible. Banks and payment providers control the time required for funds to appear.

How to request review

Open a support ticket in My MSDHost or email support@msdhost.com. Include the order number, service or domain, and reason for the request. Do not send payment-card numbers or passwords.
