Privacy Policy

MSDHost Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026

This policy explains how MSDHost collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you browse our sites, purchase hosting or domain services, request a VPS quote, or use My MSDHost.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide during checkout and account use, including your name, organization, billing and registrant contact details, email address, telephone number, postal address, service selections, domain names, support messages, and account preferences.

We also process operational data needed to provide and secure services, such as login and session information, IP addresses, browser and device details, order and payment references, hosting usage, provisioning activity, DNS and nameserver settings, domain lifecycle events, and security logs.

Payments

Payments are processed by the payment methods shown at checkout. MSDHost receives transaction references, payment status, amount, currency, and limited billing information. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes in the MSDHost application database.

How we use information

  • Process orders and verify payments.
  • Register, renew, transfer, and manage domains.
  • Provision and administer hosting, websites, email, databases, DNS, and related services.
  • Operate My MSDHost, support, billing, fraud prevention, security monitoring, and service recovery.
  • Meet registry, registrar, tax, accounting, legal, and abuse-response obligations.
  • Improve service reliability and customer experience.

Service providers and disclosures

We share information only as needed with service providers involved in delivering your order. These may include payment processors, WooCommerce services, OpenProvider and relevant domain registries, infrastructure and network providers, certificate authorities, DNS and email providers, and security or support vendors. Registry policies may require publication or disclosure of certain domain-registration data.

We may also disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, registry policy, fraud or abuse investigation, protection of users or infrastructure, or enforcement of MSDHost service terms.

Cookies and sessions

Our sites use essential cookies and similar storage for shopping carts, checkout, login, security, preferences, and customer sessions. Payment providers and embedded services may set their own cookies under their privacy policies.

Retention

We retain records for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain security and audit history, resolve disputes, satisfy registry and payment requirements, and meet accounting or legal obligations. One-time credentials and setup tokens use short expiration periods and are designed not to remain available after use.

Security

MSDHost uses access controls, tenant isolation, encryption for selected secrets, signed internal requests, restricted service accounts, logging, backups, and staged destructive actions. No system is completely risk-free, so customers must also protect their credentials and keep their applications current.

Your choices and rights

You may review and update account information in My MSDHost where available. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting support@msdhost.com. Some information cannot be deleted immediately when retention is required for active services, payment records, security, registries, or law.

Children

MSDHost services are intended for people able to enter a binding service agreement and are not directed to children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as services or legal requirements change. The current version is posted on this page. Privacy questions may be sent to support@msdhost.com.
